To celebrate European Day of Languages, the MFL Department hosted taster lessons in Mandarin, German, Spanish and French to children at local primary schools.

The students really enjoyed taking part in a range of taster lessons. The Tiger Song (a song about tigers to help students learn Mandarin) proved particularly popular amongst the primary school pupils.

Whilst having lunch, our guests enjoyed talking to sixth formers about their experience in learning languages and what it is like to be a student at Blackheath High School.
