Nursery & Forest School Tours

The best way to make the important decision about the right Nursery for your daughter is to experience it for yourself. By meeting our highly qualified, experienced specialist Early Years teachers, exploring our specially designed indoor and outdoor learning spaces and seeing the whole of the Junior School, you will experience the magic and warmth of our school in action and see what makes it the perfect environment for your daughter.

The tour is also ideal for families looking for Reception places.

Over the course of the morning, you will be invited to tour our Nursery, thoughtfully designed outdoor learning spaces, Nursery garden and Forest School, speak to our specialist Early Years team about their passion for nurturing and supporting each girl to flourish, and understand the benefits of an education which is designed specifically for girls. You will also get a glimpse of the wider school environment, with its specialist classrooms including Art Studio, DT Lab, Computing Suite and Library.

Meeting our Head, Ms Comerford, you can ask questions about your daughter’s journey at Blackheath High School, from her first few days with us, to her transition to Reception and even our Senior School.

You are most welcome to bring your daughter along on the tour so she can experience our environment for herself and perhaps even meet the ‘big sisters’ she will join at Blackheath High.

For more information on Blackheath High Nursery and Forest School, please read the welcome from our Head of Early Years, Miss Riordan; or email our admissions team on admissions@bla.gdst.net to book your tour. You can also book a place at our School in Action Open morning, held on 30 January 2025

We would also love you to join us for one of our Community Events, such as our upcoming Classics for Kids - Christmas Special. Book now to bring your little ones (ages 0-5) for a storytelling adventure, as we help Rudolph the Reindeer use that magical red nose to save Christmas.
