During the second part of this half term, the Science Department has been very busy with practicals in class.

A-Level Biology has worked on their dissection skills, dissecting a heart in Year 12 for the topic 'Transport in Animals', and a kidney in Year 13 to study excretion.

Year 8 has completed a ‘burning food’ practical to study the energy content in different types of food.

Guinea Pig Club has also been busy visually studying the anatomy of our guinea pigs and producing beautiful drawings and posters.
