Year 3 Curate for the Day at the Old Royal Naval College

On Tuesday during assembly, Eco Club introduced several of their planned activities for this term.
Throughout May, Blackheath High School will be taking part in #NoMowMay by not cutting the grass on the school grounds for four weeks to help increase biodiversity. As part of a study from Plantlife.org.uk, Year
7 students will collect data on insects and wildflowers, so Plantlife can calculate our nectar score.
Eco Society has started working on our newsletter and we are still looking for freelance journalists from all years to add any valuable content.
Eco Club is going to sell badges they designed in all years. The money raised with their action will go towards adopting an animal for WWF. Lots of students are desperate to find out which animal will be strutting through our school’s corridors soon.
