Last week, the Year 2 girls used their creativity to study and explore new topics.
In Maths, they concluded their study of fractions and moved on to measurement. The girls hunted around the classroom for objects that were longer than our whiteboard rubbers but shorter than a pencil. A great start to a new topic.
In English, the girls continued their studies of women in traditional tales. They drafted and wrote letters to Rapunzel urging her to take action and save herself from the tower.
As the week progressed, the girls also had great athletics lessons, studied the lifecycle of a dandelion in Science and had an enchanting music workshop from The Berkley Ensemble. Further more, the girls enjoyed a 'listening adventure' in Computing, learning more about various instruments in the orchestra.
