The annual Christmas Carol Concert took place in the Chapel at the Old Royal Naval College on 12 December and proved to be yet another musical highlight of the school year. Megan T, Erin O and Rosie M in Year 13 all performed solo items from their A-Level recitals and the Chamber Choir and Community Choir gave a magnificent performance of two movements from Handel’s Messiah, accompanied by a small professional orchestra. The school orchestra continues to go from strength to strength and it was lovely to hear such a rich array of timbres in their performance of the Nutcracker.
