Just one week into term, we were extremely excited to be informed that our team of eleven Year 9 & 10 students (Project Year 23-24) had received a prestigious Gold Crest Award for their scientific research study into Daphnia - the fascinating, transparent crustacean often called a “water flea”. The Gold Award is usually undertaken by Sixth Form students, so we were even more proud that they delivered such a high calibre project for their year group. A huge well done to this project team.
