The much feted BHSA

Another super successful BHSA School Fete

Pupils, parents and staff alike enjoyed a host of activities including face painting, crafts, games, a raffle, Jambs’ Owls, preloved books, games & handmade gifts for sale, a candy floss stall, and of course the licenced BHSA Cafe Bar. The handmade stall was again hugely popular, with beautiful scrunchies, homemade jewellery, keyrings and friendship bracelets. Our Year 6 Sports Prefects had a blast raising money for DryRobes by selling bracelets, hosting lucky dips, and a ‘spin the wheel!’.

New screening transforms Forest School

Following a successful bid for BHSA funding for new Forest School screening last term, the Junior School would like to say “a BIG thank you on behalf of all the users of Forest School. The new fencing from the BHSA was installed over the Easter holidays and it has transformed the space in a way we could never have imagined. When the girls came back after the holidays it was the first thing they noticed. It looks fantastic and offers privacy from neighbours, shade from the sun and a real ‘Forest School aesthetic’. In front of the new fence, the girls have planted some hedging (also from the BHSA). Two raised beds are on order and arriving soon.”
