Whilst the country remains in lockdown, our Leila (8 years old) started thinking about the children in her local community going without hot meals and wanted to do something about it. 

She decided to share her love of cooking and her generosity by setting up a JustGiving page to enable her to cook 100 nutritious meals. These meals will be distributed to the families who collect food from the Evelyn Community Store in Deptford, who work with national charity FareShare.

Leila has agreed to make 500 meatballs to be distributed to children and their families and alongside her food donations she is aiming to raise £500. The Community Store is delighted with Leila’s support.
