It was a trip to Riverlee Residential Home in Greenwich for our Year 10 girls. After a talk on people living with dementia, the students spent time talking to the residents and experienced first-hand how to conduct a conversation with a resident who has dementia including the importance of making contact by holding the resident's hand. We are very impressed with the way these students conducted themselves and represented Blackheath High School - well done.
