The time has finally arrived! This year’s voting for GDST Alumna of the Year is now open.
From Afua Hirsch (writer, broadcaster, barrister and author of best-selling book, Brit(ish): On Race, Identity and Belonging) to Professor Bettany Hughes (award-winning historian, author and broadcaster), nine outstanding finalists are vying for this year’s GDST Alumna of the Year Award.
The Awards are organised by the GDST Alumnae Network, a vibrant community of over 70,000 former students and staff, creating a community which supports careers, builds networks, shares news and connects individuals from all areas of industry.
The GDST Alumna of the Year Award was launched in 2011 to help recognise the many varied achievements of our alumnae from our family of schools. Alumnae and students vote for a winner from a shortlist of nominees. The winner is awarded £500 as a donation to a charity of her choice.
