As part of an exciting creative collaboration, a group of Blackheath High School Art students are showcasing their artwork in a special exhibition at the Farrow & Ball Blackheath showroom between 13-28 January 2018.
Using paints and materials kindly donated by Farrow & Ball, the 11 students from Years 7-13 have created very individual pieces of Art in response to the theme ‘SE3: Surfaces and Structures’ for display. The collection of work will be shown for a two-week period before then going on display at Blackheath High School later in the year.
Mr Branch, Head of Art, said: "The concept for this collaboration was to give some of our most talented artists an opportunity to create work using unconventional materials and to also forge some links with businesses within our local community. Farrow & Ball were really keen to be involved and have been incredibly supportive across the last few months as we have worked towards this exhibition. The students involved are really excited as, for most, this will be the first time that something that they have created will be on public display outside of school."
The exhibition will be available to view between 13-28 January 2018 at Farrow & Ball Blackheath showroom (48 Tranquil Vale, London SE3 0BD) during the store's normal opening hours (Monday - Saturday,9.00am-5.30pm and Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm).
