Greenwich School Netball Tournament
U16 Netball Team
On Wednesday 25th January, the Year 11 Netball team participated in the Greenwich Schools Netball Tournament, hosted by Eltham Hill School, where we played a total of four 10-minute matches.
Undeterred by the frosty weather, we began the tournament on the outdoor pitch, unfortunately sustaining a loss of 4-5 to the Blackheath High Year 10 team. Spurred on by our loss, our matches continued to improve throughout the tournament, beating both John Roan (6-1) and Eltham Hill Year 10 (4-2), and only marginally losing to Eltham Hill Year 11 (5-3), who eventually won the tournament.
With a total of 17 goals over the duration of the tournament, we secured second place out of the five teams. Despite a short hiatus earlier in the year, we played with strength and determination. In addition, our goal shooter, Alice won player of the tournament due to her consistency and excellent use of space. We are all very proud of Alice, and the overall outcome of the tournament, but most importantly we had a wonderful time.

U12c Hockey Team
On Tuesday 24th January, the U12c Hockey Team had a match against Colfe's. We won 1-0, which was an amazing result. It was really nice to see no-one standing around, everyone was very co-operative and showed good determination. It was a really fun, fair game with Gem as player of the match.
U12b Hockey Team
Well done also to the U12b Hockey Team who won 2-1 against Colfe’s on Tuesday 24th January. A fantastic result! Player of the match was Sienna. Well done to all who played!
