Year 8 had an unforgettable experience at PGL Liddington. For those of us who had been to the Junior School in Year 5, it was our second time at Liddington and this made us all the more excited.
We were put in amazing dorms with some of our best friends and incredible activity groups that helped us try our best. I especially loved mine. Having only six members meant that we could go on everything over and over again.
PGL instructors, Ben and Freya, ran our school group. They were really fun and boosted enthusiasm, as well as playing great games, such as animal spat and ambush.
Our activities were thrilling and electrifying, even to those who had done them before. The activities that we participated in were; the trapeze, abseiling, aero ball, giant swing, archery and zip wire. The instructors were great and though they tried to push you to try new things and to jump off the abseiling tower, they would understand if you didn't want to or if you were afraid.
On Saturday night, Ben and Freya hosted an amazing disco. We danced and sang our hearts out for two hours and had the time of our lives.
I, like many other, pushed myself to do things that I was scared of. Although those things were, for the most part, terrifying, I wouldn't change doing it for the world.
