To coincide with the RSPB’s Annual Bird Watch, Reception took their learning to the outdoor classroom where everyone made a bird feeder using ‘O’ shaped cereal threaded onto ribbon. The girls had to be careful to make sure the cereal did not just fall onto the ground! When they were all complete, the girls hung them on branches at Forest School. When we went back to check the following day the bird feeders were all empty – what a treat for the local wildlife!
