Having been involved in Outreach and Community work since I was at university, I was delighted that we have been able to offer our Year 10 students the same experience. 

Over the course of the academic year, our Year 10 students have delivered workshops on Space, The 4-chord song, Healthy eating, Deep under the sea, Origami and Interesting festivals around the world. Students work in small groups to prepare and deliver a 30-minute workshop on a topic of their choice and work with the children on an activity they have designed. We have visited John Ball and our Junior School to deliver these workshops across a range of year groups and I have been amazed at the maturity and rapport our students have had, despite being very nervous before the workshops took place!
