We are incredibly lucky to be part of a thriving, vibrant local community in Blackheath and we like to do as much as we can to engage and give something back. So in January, we created an event which welcomed our smallest community members to the Junior School to showcase the wonders of the universe.  

Step Into Space was an out-of-this-world experience for 2–5-year-olds in the community. Intrepid explorers visited the extraordinary WonderDome, a mobile planetarium that brought the whole solar system to life; created awesome rockets in Astronomy Art; joined budding astronaut Rocket in a cosmic journey, delivered by The Arts Place London; and enjoyed some sensational Space snacks created by our brilliant Junior School chef. It really was a morning full of wonder and we hope that for many this has led to more super special Space adventures.
