Year 5 Young Voices: 19 January 2024   

We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable day for the first time Blackheath High took part in Young Voices. Young Voices, which celebrated its 25th year in 2024, is an incredible initiative which invites schools throughout the country to come together at venues across the UK to sing and perform together. Year 5 mastered an impressive 11 songs, plus BSL British Sign Language and dance moves and took part in this concert at the O2 Arena, alongside nearly 8,000  children. It was a long but amazing day which will forever be imprinted on the memories of those who took part. Our pupils were also treated to performances by the incredible soul singer Natalie Williams and 13-year old drumming sensation Nandi Bushell.   

Year 6 Teatime Concert

Junior School enjoyed a beautiful end to a busy week with 16 wonderful performances from Year 6 students. This was a particularly special concert for Year 6, marking a significant point in their musical journey together, many of whom have been learning their instrument in school since Year 1.
