This term Reception girls have ‘roarly’ immersed themselves in all things dinosaur!

The topic started with a workshop – travelling back in time to meet all the different types of dinosaur. Each week, we have read a different book, ranging from non-fiction to fantasy and have learnt new vocabulary such a ‘palaeontologist’ and ‘carnivore’.

The girls used clay to make their own fossils and even dug them up like the famous palaeontologist Mary Anning. The highlight of the term for children and teachers alike was a visit from some very realistic dinosaur puppets!
