Our Spring term Sustainability fundraising in 2023 went towards the Kariega Foundation in South Africa. The Kariega Foundation is a non-profit trust working in partnership with Kariega Game Reserve to create a sustainable eco-tourism model that delivers on a holistic mandate to protect and preserve the Kariega wilderness and uplift the people and communities that live in and around the reserve. From some fun and simple fundraising events we were pleased to raise over £750, which will go towards resources for their Youth Development Projects. 

To introduce our school to the Kariega Foundation students we made a short film to capture some of our lovely fundraising activities. The song that our choir is singing here is a beautiful Earth song to underline both our sustainability values and that of the charity. Watch the clips here.
