This weekend, the local Greenwich Book Festival returns to the Old Royal Naval College site for an exciting two-day programme of award-winning author talks, creative workshops and discussions for children and adults.

From monster finger puppet making to a concert-book event with the violinist and author Min Kym, there will be plenty on offer for all ages. Inspirational authors will be on hand including Alex Wheatle (2016 Guardian Children’s Fiction Prizewinner) and Kiran Millwood Hargrave (recent winner of the Waterstones Children’s Prize for ‘The Girl of Ink & Stars’). There will also be a pop-up Waterstones, food and drink stalls, and entertainment. We can't wait!
