Hours: Part-time 50% – 60%

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and passionate Art Teacher to join a thriving and successful Art Department within an exceptional school.

You will ideally be a subject specialist in Art who is able to contribute to the planning and delivery of lessons up to GCSE and A Level, and who could help with the future development of the department and support all Art Department events which include an annual Art Exhibition and Fashion Show.

You will be an enthusiastic, positive and hard-working Art Teacher, who is able to teach Art from KS3 to KS5. You will be a well-qualified graduate, with a proven track record of academic success and prior experience of working within a successful team.

If you can demonstrate equal passion for Art and working with young students and can contribute to our wide ranging co-curricular programme, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Art at Blackheath High School

We teach students a wide range of practical skills and activities including: painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, block printing, silkscreen, digital imaging and video. This subject is very popular within the curriculum which enables us to offer GCSE Art, Craft + Design and two separate A Level endorsements of Art and Textiles.
