Teacher of Maths

Required from: September 2025

Contract term: Maternity Cover Contract x 2 (one position for two terms; one position for three terms)

Hours: Full time

Competitive salary in accordance with experience

We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Teachers of Maths to join our well-resourced and flourishing Maths Department, covering periods of maternity leave.

These are key roles which would suit ambitious, well qualified individuals, wishing to make a significant impact on the academic achievement of our students, both through the curriculum and extracurricular activities.

The successful candidates should be enthusiastic and well-qualified teachers of Mathematics, able to meet the rewarding challenge of teaching and inspiring our motivated students from Year 7 to A level, both inside and outside the classroom. The ability to teach Further Mathematics would be advantageous.

About the Maths Faculty

Maths is an important and flourishing subject at Blackheath High with an impressive record of success at all levels and we are proud of the number of students who go on to study Mathematics and related disciplines at university. Students also enjoy taking part in Mathematics related clubs and competitions.

Students attain excellent examination results and Mathematics is a popular subject at Advanced level.
