This event was an incredibly lovely one – being at its heart collaborative and community-led. There was face painting and hair chalks by Year 6 girls, a bouncy castle and slide, the Hive came along and showed the children some bushcraft skills and the very popular headdress stall where children could make their own festival headdresses.
Parents were also well looked after with The BHSA bar and Accent Catering delivering a fabulous burger bar during the afternoon, followed by a fire-side supper for the campers.
The children kept the peace as the evening drew on, watching a “silent” movie with headphones lent to us by a parent whilst munching on popcorn and toasted marshmallows.
The event was finished off with The BHSA running their pop-up coffee shop on Sunday for some much needed caffeine and orange juice!
