On a very rainy Wednesday, Year 12 students got the exciting opportunity to step outside the classroom and explore London’s Bankside. They were able to experience the vibrant colours of the Lubaina Himid and the Australia exhibitions at the Tate Modern before going on to watch divers and explore a the delicious range of food on offer along the Thames.

Later we were lucky to experience the marvellous Globe Theatre and took to standing, as groundlings, for a brilliant production of Shakespeare’s famous comedy ‘Much Ado about Nothing.’ Despite the rain, the students were able to have an enjoyable day out and experience the rich culture of London!
