Before the Christmas break, our Year 10 and Year 12 Design & Technology students visited the Design District at Greenwich Peninsula.
The new Design District features 16 different buildings designed by eight pioneering architects, providing flexible studio and workspace to help the creative side of London thrive.
On their visit, the girls were able to witness the varied building style and consider how these designs could inspire their own DT work.
Whilst they explored the district, the girls were set a photo competition to see who could take the most interesting photograph whilst they investigated the architectural details of the buildings.
There were some fantastic entries, and usually there can only be one winner; however, this time, there was a dead heat between Amy Yuzhu's photograph and Renee Robinson's. Well done to both girls!
