Year 12 students at school are beginning work on their EPQs.
An EPQ is an Extended Project Qualification, which qualifies as half an A-Level, best described as an independent research task and involving either writing an extended essay of 5,000 words or creating a product with an accompanying shorter essay of about 1,000 words.
We are proud that almost all of our innovative and curious Sixth Formers opt to undertake an EPQ. Year 12 have asked that their list of subjects is shared with our community in the hopes that some volunteers with expertise in the area of their work may consent to being interviewed as a part of their final essay.
If you have a passion, expertise or interest – professional or personal – in any of these subjects please email Mr Crozier who will be delighted to hear from you and connect you with the student in question. Mr Crozier can be reached at: b.crozier@bla.gdst.net
