The first day begun with a brief induction from our leaders, as we stood around eagerly, anxious with the anticipation, but excited for the adventure ahead.

We were then ready to set off on the walk. It seemed easy at first, but we quickly encountered challenges with the heavy bags and muddy terrain, someone even lost a shoe! Luckily we didn’t get lost, so we were in our campsites before dusk, ready to put up the tent and begin tucking into our evening meal.

The next day, our perseverance helped us get to the end although we were exhausted.
