Year 10 are currently studying ‘The Nervous System’ in Biology.
Triple Science students got to dissect an eye, and study all the parts in relation to anatomy and function. They stayed very focused and all succeeded in finding the lens, iris, and retina. We even did a little experiment in class to find our own blind spot on our retinas.
Over Half Term, the girls put a lot of effort into researching ‘the eye’. They made interesting posters, models and diagrams and Lucy even embroidered the perfect eye, which is now framed and will be forever treasured on the teacher’s desk.
