Year 3 Curate for the Day at the Old Royal Naval College

During and after the Easter Holidays, we marked the end of our fantastic #BlackheathHighBakeOff competition with our incredible showstopper challenge.
The girls pulled out all the stops and produced their greatest bakes yet, including but not limited to, a Baby Yoda cake with colourful piping, melting cheese with poppy and apricot bread and a delicious looking pear and chocolate bake.
After going through the entries, we decided that our showstopper winner was Orla with her chocolate and hazelnut meringue pavlova, with chocolate syllabub filling, tempered chocolate twigs and fondant chicken and eggs. Orla tells us she had an 'egg-cellent time making it' and we can see why.
Every challenge winner in our competition have received a special baking cookbook from our fantastic caterers at Accent.
