Students got to experience life on a film set during the holidays as they were invited to participate in the filming of the psychological horror film ‘A Banquet’ on the 11 August 2020.
The production team were looking for a school in South London to film a particular scene, saw the Blackheath High School Library and wanted to film there immediately! Several students got to participate as background artists, with Ruby being given a line of dialogue. Ms Day was also included in the filming as a librarian! Although filming took place on the hottest day of the year and despite coping with Covid-19 restrictions, the girls conducted themselves with absolute professionalism. Everyone had hair, make-up and costume provided – we thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
