Year 9 were tasked with designing and making a scale model of a house for specific clients.

They researched the wants, needs and tastes of their individual contacts and worked through the design process by sketching bubble diagrams of accommodation which developed into firm 3D proposals.

Abi's incredible graphic ability was backed in this project by her amazing accuracy when making her model. Her design is remarkably sophisticated for someone so young, with elements reminiscent of the prairie houses of Frank Lloyd Wright - generally considered to be the greatest architect to have lived. Amazing work - well done Abi!
