Rising from the top of the Eastern baluster or stone newell post on the Main Hall stairway promises to be “The Fifth Plinth”.

While at cardboard prototype stage at the moment, the design shows a clear acrylic box with an aperture for casting votes. Within the box will be thought provoking 3D installations – referencing Trafalgar Square’s fourth plinth.

The first vote will start soon with candidates being: POWER, PEACE, CHOICE or FAME.
