The annual Long Notes competition has been taking place during lesson time over the last few weeks and I am delighted that all the girls in Years 7-9 took part. 

We held the semi-final on Tuesday 17 December, with the support of Mr Tarr and Mr Saumtally as our expert time keepers. 

I was delighted that Millie (Yr 8), Ellie (Yr 7) and Dotty (Yr 9) were able to produce such a consistent tone in the final round with Dotty being our overall winner. She was able to play a long note on the tuba for a staggering 38.45 seconds.
