This year the Drama Department decided to mark the centenary of the end of World War I with a production of Joan Littlewood’s seminal piece of theatre “Oh What A Lovely War”. A brilliant piece of satire that has an audience caught between laughing one minute and in attentive silence the next. Both moving and amusing it asks questions of our audience, even today, about the cost of war.
