Both Reception classes headed up Shooters Hill by coach for an exciting trip to Woodlands Farm. It was a cooler day than of late which meant that we could really enjoy the whole day outside with the animals without the risk of sunburn. We had the farm to ourselves and both classes went on a farm walk to learn about all the animals - Bob the pony was the favourite! We learnt how to milk a cow, met Rosie and Gerald (the two pigs), and took part in a mini-beast hunt. A packed lunch was eaten outside the classroom. As ever, the girls were a pleasure to be with and on our return to school, all declared that it was the best trip ever!
