Cheered on by teachers and families, girls from Years 1-3 did us proud with their Sports Day performances on Friday 8 June. The girls competed in their Houses in a number of different events including sack races and football skills, followed by competitive running races.
Year 3 kicked things off by running the 80 metres, which had everyone cheering on the sidelines, followed by Year 2 and then Year 1. The dedication to our annual Sports Day soon became apparent as the Year 3 girls took part in the 400 metre race - a great effort was put in by all. Well done to India who took the number one position, followed by Tess in second and Chloe in third. During all of this excitement, the scores were being added up and the results were imminent. Meridian house clinched first place, closely followed by Paragon. Morden took the third place and Vanbrugh took fourth place.
We would like to thank all the girls and parents for their participation and support. A special thank you to our amazing Year 6 helpers. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves!
