On Tuesday 23 January, Year 2 enjoyed a trip to the Horniman Museum. The girls have been learning about Africa as their topic this term and had the opportunity to look at and handle real life African objects during an African workshop at the museum. The girls enjoyed trying on traditional Kente clothing and played with a variety of musical instruments as well as African toys which were very cleverly made from reclaimed materials. It was a joy to see the girls so enthusiastic about their learning, asking interesting questions and sharing what they had learnt in class.
