Our termly Tea Time concert kick-started a creative and ambitious New Year at Blackheath High School with delightful performances from the Year 10 GCSE Music students and some new performers across the Year groups.

It was a first for the Swing Sisters, Blackheath High School’s jazz ensemble, to try their hand at improvising a performance. Other performances included Namie singing an emotional rendition of ‘Bill’ from the musical Show Boat and an impressive violin solo by Aini performing Méditation by Massenet, from the opera Thaïs.
