On 8 November, both Reception classes set out across the Heath and through Greenwich Park on a trip to the National Maritime Museum. For many of the girls, it was their first school trip and included quite a long walk but not one girl complained and we were all very proud of their resilience.
When we arrived at the museum, we explored the Hands-on Gallery, the newly refurbished Ahoy Gallery, enjoyed looking around the museum and played on the huge map before eating our packed lunches. The school mini-buses brought the girls back to school exhausted.
Many passing adults commented on the excellent manners of the girls and how sensible they were - a lovely day out!
