Year 1 at our Junior School really enjoyed their trip to London Zoo. After arriving just in time for the penguin show and learning about the type of animal they are, what they like to eat, how they are adapted to their environment and all about different parts of their body, we settled down to have lunch while watching them dive and dart about in the water. We then set off on our exploration of the base camp. We are ready for our first topic in Year 1 now. We will become Polar Explorers!
