We are thrilled to announce that the musical for 2025 will be Disney’s ‘High School Musical’. It's the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, and Skaters find their cliques, recount their vacations, and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical that is being led by Ms Darbus. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella's alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well. 

All auditions will take place on:

Wednesday 8 January 2025 in the Dance Studio between 15:45 – 18:00 latest.  

Audition material can be found on Firefly – Drama – Shows – Spring Musical – High School Musical.

All students wanting to audition need to complete the Audition Form and return this by 6 January 2025. Please read it carefully before submitting.

We are also looking for several technical assistants to help run backstage. These students would be expected to attend after school rehearsals, technical rehearsals and show days. There are several positions available: 

• Stage Manager = 1 role 

• Assistant Stage Manager = 3 roles 

• Lighting Designer = 1 role 

• Assistant Lighting Designer = 1 role 

• Sound Designer = 1 role 

• Assistant Sound Designer = 1 role
