We are absolutely thrilled for our Senior School mathematicians who competed in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge and secured a total of 76 certificates.   

Our 59 Year 9 entrants took home a total of 12 certificates, including 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 9 Bronze. Our Year 9 student, Ellie (who smashed it with a Gold), automatically qualified for the prestigious invite-only Cayley Maths Olympiad held at the end of March. Rachel in Year 9 also qualified automatically for the Grey Kangaroo.  

Of the 83 Year 10 entrants, there were 6 Gold, 9 Silver and 20 Bronze certificates awarded - with Umida, Sophia, Lydia and Nela all securing an automatic qualification for the Pink Kangaroo.  

Of the 60 Year 11 entrants, 27 received a certificate; 12 silver and 15 bronze; whilst among our talented Year 7 entrants Emma received a silver certificate, and there was a Bronze for Suveka. A brilliant accomplishment, as the competition is essentially designed for Years 9-11.
