In October we held our annual Languages Week, an opportunity for students to enjoy language learning outside the classroom and to appreciate a wide range of activities from diverse cultural heritages.
From salsa dancing, treasure hunts in Spanish and French, and MFL spelling bee competitions to Schultüte making, Mandarin calligraphy and much more, our students enjoyed teamwork, problem-solving and opportunities to unwind, while also developing their resilience. And of course, everyone welcomed the return of the hugely popular Masked Singer event – illustrated by another full house in the Theatre and much laughter.
The MFL Department would like to thank all Senior School colleagues (particularly our masked singers!); Hannah Grieg (from Junior School); and alumna Eden Chambers for such enthusiastic support before and during the week. Last but not least, thank you to all the volunteers in Year 10-13 and to all the participants.
See you next year!
