Earlier this term we shared the fantastic entry to the ‘Design Future London’ competition, which Year 9 students Isabella, Laura, Iris, Sofia and Anna co-created. We are delighted that their ‘miCRO/maCRO’ redesign of Croydon town centre has been shortlisted within their age category.
Voting for the shortlisted designs closed earlier this week, but you can still take a look at all the submissions here.
Blackheath High School’s submission is Entry 14 and can be found under the Ages 11-15 category.
The finalists will be chosen by a panel of experts – we hope to find out very shortly if the Blackheath High School team have been successful!
Selected finalists and the winners of the People’s Vote will be invited to the final prize giving event on Friday 7 July 2023, hosted by Sadiq Khan and architect George Clarke.
Good luck #BlackheathHighUrbanDesignTeam!
