Back by ever-popular demand, the action-packed BHSA Quiz night took place last week, with parents and staff from the Senior and Junior Schools battling it out in a race for the honour of winning as well as some excellent prizes! Quiz Master (and Blackheath High School History teacher) Ben Crozier brought his unique style to create an engaging, hilarious, challenging, and at times sing-a-long quiz that literally no-one knew all the answers to. With rounds including “Is this digestive biscuit from Waitrose or Lidl?” and “Dress a team member up as a book that we recognise,” the winning teams worked hard to win vouchers to local restaurant Copper & Ink, and local coffee shops. Thank you to all those who came along – it made for a fun-packed night! 

The next BHSA event is Comedy Night on Thursday 11 May, MC’d by Ian Smith and with a stellar lineup including Esther Manito, Martin Wratten, Toussaint Douglass & Tom Ward - all of whom you may have seen on TV or on the comedy circuit. It’s sure to be a great evening. As usual, all profits go to the BHSA charity fund.
