On Thursday 27th April, Year 2 enjoyed a trip to The National Gallery to explore several landscape paintings. Their guide introduced the girls to the works of JMW Turner and explained how he used space and colour to make his paintings come alive. 

The girls particularly enjoyed hearing about the stories behind each painting during their tour and learned to look carefully at the clues in the painting which help to tell the tale. Year 2 enjoyed the bustle of being in the City and behaved impeccably!
