In another instalment from our new Duke of Edinburgh aficionados, 71 Year 9s prepped last weekend to complete the first part of their Expedition section of the Bronze DofE Award. The girls got off to a cracking start with their training, participating in a series of workshops on how to survive in the wilds of Kent and East Sussex later this year!

The morning was spent brushing up on their Geography skills by planning the routes for the qualifying expedition. The afternoon included practical sessions of putting up and more importantly, putting away their tents; first aid; cooking and menu planning. Well done to the Year 9's who brought a lot of enthusiasm and many questions for the expedition leaders from Ben Bullen Adventures.
