Well done to all the girls in Years 5 and 6 who took part in the SPENS Junior Art competition. Each girl had to submit three different pieces of work, which were completed at home. 

This year, the standard was very high and made judging very hard. Congratulations to Zainab for her still life study of squashes and to Stella for the three studies of her grandfather. Mabel was the overall winner for her inspired pieces that catalogued her own story using references to the work of Frieda Kahlo. In assembly, all three girls talked with great eloquence about the processes they used. All the work is on display in the Junior Hall - enjoy!
