Girls at Blackheath High aim high, not least in their sporting pursuits. Whether pursuing hockey, netball, swimming and cricket for example (both inside and outside of school) or competing in cycling, dance or martial arts outside of school, we love to hear about and celebrate their achievements. We strive to support the girls in their chosen sport in any way we can, and of course are both inspired by and proud of them as they grow to compete at the highest level.
Spotlighting some of our girls currently competing at regional, national and international level, you can hear below from four of our students – Hannah, Nancy, Ella & Reese, from Years 10-12 – as they chat about their passion for their sport, their mentors, sporting highlights and their next big events. Our up & coming sports stars!
Wishing the very best of luck too to Rachel in Year 10 who will be competing in the Karate World Championships this half term!!
